We have made substantial updates to the following EQIPD Toolbox items:

• 1.4.3.3 Academia-academia: Research as service: The recommendations outlined here are intended to improve the robustness, reliability, traceability and integrity of the data obtained from the research activities supported by academic core facilities. The recommendations have been developed by a working group of members and stakeholders of the EQIPD consortium.
• 4.1.3 External assessment: As the EQIPD team has started to conduct the first assessments of Research Units having implemented the EQIPD QS (and more assessments are already scheduled), we have included item 4.1.3 in the Toolbox to provide an overview of the assessment process and to highlight critical steps on the way to obtain the EQIPD Quality Label.
