European research infrastructures support academic research by providing networking opportunities and informing about current topics. In this context, the ERIC Forum (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) held a two-day inter-disciplinary workshop on “Research Quality and Reproducibility” with speakers from different backgrounds. The EQIPD Quality System was presented as a tool to increase research rigor by Thomas Steckler and Björn Gerlach.
