In addition to serving on the leadership team of PAASP US, Patricia Kabitzke serves as the Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to the Director of the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
Prior to joining the Broad, Patricia served as the Associate Director of Scientific Programs at Cohen Veterans Bioscience (CVB), a national nonprofit focused on diagnostic tests and personalized therapeutics for veterans and civilians with trauma-related and other brain disorders. In her role, she led all non-clinical programming, developing robust, reproducible, and translational model systems of post-traumatic stress disorder constructs.
Prior to that, Patricia spent time at PsychoGenics, Inc., a contract research organization, leading projects developing novel phenotyping assays and screening therapeutics in multiple model systems of autism, in partnership with the Simons Foundation and other funders.
Patricia trained at Columbia University and has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience.
