The World Conference on Research Integrity in 2022 happened in Cape Town, South Africa from May 29 to June 01. The packed program with over 150 presentations put the spotlight on research integrity from different angels and covered divers aspects of this topic from meta research to possible solutions for improvements. In one of the Plenary sessions, our colleague Björn Gerlach from PAASP and the Guarantors of EQIPD e.V. presented the EQIPD quality system as one of the key new interventions to support research integrity.
