The GOT-IT team, consisting of researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute, Charité and PAASP, announces the publication of their guidelines for target validation in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery today. The guidelines are also introduced on the GOT-IT project web page and are useful for any research team conducting translational research and ultimately aiming to develop a new drug. In addition, the GOT-IT team has developed a web-application -the Critical Path Generator- that can support scientists in designing their individual critical path towards project-specific goals and that provides guidance on possible next steps.
