On September 16-17, 2019, NIH will be holding a workshop to build upon current reproducibility efforts by exploring best practices for enhancing rigor and transparency in studies specifically using non-human primate models. NIH is particularly interested in exploring the role of ethical factors that may influence study design given that these models are of such critical importance to numerous research fields such as neurobiology, infectious diseases, regenerative medicine, reproductive biology, and more. Sessions will range from topics such as selection criteria, designing experiments, biological and environmental influences, and maximizing data.

The full agenda and registration website are still under development but will be available https://osp.od.nih.gov/ by August 1, 2019. Space will be limited for in-person attendance and registration will be required. This event will also be webcast.
