On 2018 July 25th, the SpringerProtocols.com platform will be deactivated and replaced by the new research platform Springer Nature Experiments, a research solution dedicated to protocols and methods (the actual SpringerProtocols content is still hosted on SpringerLink).
Free-to-use, Springer Nature Experiments has been specifically designed to help researchers find and evaluate different research protocols and scientific methods: Best-fit algorithms identify lab techniques and model organisms mentioned in research articles to help scientists to find the most relevant references for their own experiments. The number of citations and downloads are displayed allowing researchers to spot instantly which articles are worth further reading.
From keywords through to citation history and latest citations, it is possible to compare protocols and methods to make sure that they have been successfully and consistently used in other research projects.
